Dirigo Solar LLC
Dirigo Solar LLC is a Maine-based developer of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants, with over 200 MWac currently under development throughout the state of Maine. Dirigo’s mission is to leverage technology cost reductions to lower the cost of power for Maine homeowners and businesses, with locally generated, clean energy. In 2015, Dirigo was awarded a contract by the Maine Public Utilities Commission, for up to 75 MWac of distributed solar projects in Central Maine Power and/or Emera Maine service territories. Notably, the Commission determined that Dirigo’s portfolio will save Maine ratepayers up to more than $25M over the length of the contract.

In 2016, Dirigo partnered with BNRG Renewables Limited, an international developer of solar projects based in Dublin, Ireland, to build, own, and operate the projects. BNRG has developed, financed, and constructed over 130 MW of ground mounted and rooftop projects comprising approximately more than $275 million in value in Oregon as well as the UK, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, and Greece.
